I’m super excited to share this: North Summit has found a spot to move! In April of this year we had a space lined up in New Brighton. We were in the final stages of the lease terms so we made it public that we would be moving to New Brighton this fall. Unfortunately, the week after we announced it, we faced a barrier with the lease agreement as some terms changed and we were no longer able to move there. I kept the faith, and reached out to many other places. I called over 30 places. No after no, rejection after rejection, the dream of us moving seemed to be dying....but the good news is we serve a God that is in the business of making dead things come to life and He did! At around call 30 we found it. A great location, a good price, and caring people to work with. We toured, planned (and are still planning), and can now confidently announce....
*We are moving to Spring Lake Park High School *We will be in the Kenneth Hall Community Room and Gym
*We will be meeting there starting 10/6/19 and launching on 11/10/19 *Our worship time will be moving to 10:30am
As soon as we walked into the space we knew this was it, we knew this was where the spirit was leading us (Even my lucky number was there to prove it, but that's a story for a sermon). As I look back at all the sleepless nights, all the phone calls, the prayers, and the promises, I find myself being so thankful for how this unfolded. I'm so thankful it didn't work out on the first call, and we had to wait till the 30th call. I'm thankful that it felt hopeless, and it felt like the dream was dead. I thank God for the barrier because it shows us that sometimes breakthroughs are on the other side of barriers. Sometimes there is a wall between where you are and God's promise. All it takes is the shout of your praise and faith to believe He will make a way.
